Should the insurance excess and the Vehicle Security Guarantee be covered by credit card the amount will NOT be debited to your account and will only be done so in case of an accident. Easygo campers offer the follwoing options to reduce the Standard Excess:
▪ Street Smart Excess Reduction 1: NZ$21 per day (added to the standard rate) will reduce the excess for any damage to either the vehicle or third party property to a maximum of NZ$2,500 (per incident). Multiple windscreen and tyre damage is also covered in the standard policy as is overhead and under-body damage on the rented vehicle. The total insurance charge is limited to a max of 50 days or NZ$1050. The security can be covered by cash, traveller’s cheques in NZD or a credit card. Should the insurance excess and the Vehicle Security Guarantee be
covered by credit card the amount will NOT be debited to your account and will only be done so in case of an accident. We retain the right to hold these details 28 days after the hire.
▪ Freedom Plus Excess Reduction 2: NZ$36 per day (added to the standard rate) will waive the excess for any vehicle and the third party property damage. Multiple windscreen and tyre damage is also covered in the standard policy as is overhead and under-body damage on the rented vehicle. The total insurance charge is limited to a max of 50 days or NZ$1,800. The security can be covered by cash, traveller’s cheques in NZD or a credit card. Should the insurance excess & the Vehicle Security Guarantee be covered by credit card the amount will NOT be
debited to your account & will only be done so in case of an accident. We retain the right to hold these details 28 days after the hire. Note: The driver must be 25 years or older.
▪ All Inclusive Package: easygo campers All Inclusive Package is available to travellers’ for NZ$46 per day premium on standard rental rates. The All Inclusive Package includes:
1) Waiver of insurance excess on any vehicle and third party property damage.
2) Camping table and chairs, baby seat or child/booster seat(s) as required & snow chains where necessary.
3) All one way hires free of charge. VEHICLE SECURITY GUARANTEE
A credit card imprint is required on all rental agreements. The credit card must be valid for 28 days after the end of the hire. In the absence of a credit card, easygo requires a cash vehicle security bond of NZ$4,500 (or $2500 if Street Smart is taken, $250 if Freedom Plus buy down option is taken). This credit card imprint or cash will be held for 28 days after the return of the motorhome.
IMPORTANT
The hirer is fully liable for any damage to the easygo campers vehicle or 3rd party property if:
1) The terms of the rental contract are breached
2) Damage to the vehicle is caused by careless, willful or reckless driving or breach of any NZ driving rules and regulations
3) Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
4) Driving on restricted roads
5) Water submersion or salt water damage caused through the hirer’s fault
6) Incorrect fuel is used
MINIMUM RENTAL DURATION AND COSTING
Minimum rental period: 7 days. Minimum rental is extended to 14 days for the travel period from 20 December to 10 January and also for NZ/Australia school holiday dates. Shorter rentals may be accepted entirely at the discretion of easygo campers. Vehicle rentals are calculated on a per calendar day basis, i.e. day of pick up or drop off is always counted as a full day irrespective of what time it is collected or dropped off. ONE-WAY RENTAL FEE
One-way rentals are available between Client Service Centre locations. A one way fee of $220 is applicable when travel falls between 1 October - 31 March. LICENCE AND MINIMUM AGE
A valid full national driver licence is required. Non-English language national drivers’ licences must be presented in conjunction with an official translation or valid international driver’s licence. The minimum age is 21 years. RESTRICTIONS
1) Roads: easygo campers can be driven on sealed/bitumen or well formed gravel roads. No vehicle is to be driven on the following roads: Skippers Canyon Road, Colville Township to Port Jackson, Ball Hut Road, 90 Mile Beach.
2) Animals: No animals permitted in vehicles, with the exception of guide dogs, subject to the approval of easygo campers.
3) Smoking: No smoking is permitted in the vehicles.
REPAIRS
Minor repairs (where the hirer is not at fault) up to NZ$100 may be made without authorisation and will be reimbursed upon production of itemised receipt. Amounts above NZ$100 require approval from easygo camper On-Road Care & clients must retain an itemised receipt.
VEHICLE RETURN
All vehicles must be returned with a full fuel tank and be filled up within 3 km’s of the drop off location. Refuelling at our Client Service Centre will be charged at current rates per 1/4 tank plus an administration fee. Charges will apply should the vehicle be dropped off at a location other than that which was agreed upon.
CANCELLATION FEES
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
If canceled 29 days or more prior to vehicle pick up No further charge
If canceled 28 — 11 days prior to vehicle pick up 20% total cost
If canceled 10 — 4 days prior to vehicle pick up 50% total cost
No show or canceled 3 — 1 days prior to vehicle pick up 100% total cost
If a vehicle is returned early for any reason whatsoever, no refund is available. Fees will be charged as of date of cancellation.
AMENDMENT FEES
Once a booking is confirmed, 2 amendments can be made free of charge with all remaining amendments costing $20 each. The amendment fee will be waived should the amendment increase the revenue of the hire (e.g. additional days added, accessories and insurances added). If an amendment is made that alters the date of pickup then any cancellation of the booking thereafter is charged at 100% total price, regardless of when the cancellation is made. Exception: Changes to arrival times on pre-confirmed date of pick up or drop off are free of charge.

SUBSTITUTION OF VEHICLE
If, for reasons beyond our control, the reserved vehicle is not available, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable or superior vehicle at no extra cost to the client. This shall not constitute a breach of contract and does not entitle the renter to any form of refund.
TAXES AND LOCAL STATE TAX
All charges include 15% GST. All rates and conditions are subject to change in accordance with changes in government taxes. PLEASE NOTE:

CANCELLATION FEES

• If the pick-up or drop off location is amended within 93 days of pick up a relocation fee of NZ$850 will apply.
• If the drop-off location is changed after hire has commenced then a relocation fee of NZ$850 will apply.
• If an amendment is made that alters the date of pickup then any cancellation of the booking thereafter is charged at 100% total price, regardless of when the cancellation is made.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Car rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 25.00
To add or remove extras to/from a confirmed booking: 10.00
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Standard Insurance is compulsory. It is included in your Standard Rates.
A credit card imprint or cash bond is required on all hires to cover the Vehicle Security Guarantee regardless of level of insurance taken. If no credit card is available to leave an imprint to cover the security of the vehicle (this is not the damage excess) and the cash option is taken, the Vehicle Security Cash Bond is $4500 for Standard (Level 1) Insurance. If Level 2 insurance is taken the cash bond required is $2500. The cash bond for Level 3 insurance is $250.
Level 3 is not available to drivers under 25 years of age
Insurance Levels 2 and 3 are capped to a maximum of 50 days.
Please note this excess is charged per incident, not per hire. Therefore, the excess (all or part thereof) will be charged per incident.
WINDSCREEN & TYRE INSURANCE
Windscreen and tyre insurance is not included in easygo camper insurance it is available for NZ$2 per day and covers all unintentional damage. Multiple incidents are covered. This is only available for hires 7 days and longer or a minimum payment of NZ$14. Maximum payment is NZ$40. This insurance can be taken at time of booking or at pick up. This relates to the front windscreen only - not the side and rear windows.
INSURANCE IS VALID FOR TRAVEL BETWEEN 1st OCTOBER 2010 and 31st AUGUST 2011:
STANDARD EXCESS INSURANCE COVER
All easygo campers come with fully comprehensive insurance cover which insures against recoverable 3rd party accident damage, theft and break-ins (excluding personal belongings). A standard excess of NZD$4,500 (per incident) applies in the event of any damage to either our vehicle or 3rd party property. Multiple windscreen and tyre damage is also covered in the standard policy as is overhead and under-body damage on the rented vehicle. A credit card imprint only (no money held or transferred) will be taken on vehicle collection. The security can
be covered by cash, traveller’s cheques in NZD or a credit card. Should the insurance excess and the Vehicle Security Guarantee be covered by credit card the amount will NOT be debited to your account and will only be done so in case of an accident. We retain the right to hold these details 28 days after the hire.
Easygo campers offer the follwoing options to reduce the Standard Excess:
▪ Street Smart Excess Reduction 1: NZ$21 per day (added to the standard rate) will reduce the excess for any damage to either the vehicle or third party property to a maximum of NZ$2,500 (per incident). Multiple windscreen and tyre damage is also covered in the standard policy as is overhead and under-body damage on the rented vehicle. The total insurance charge is limited to a max of 50 days or NZ$1050. The security can be covered by cash, traveller’s cheques in NZD or a credit card. Should the insurance excess and the Vehicle Security Guarantee be
covered by credit card the amount will NOT be debited to your account and will only be done so in case of an accident. We retain the right to hold these details 28 days after the hire.
▪ Freedom Plus Excess Reduction 2: NZ$36 per day (added to the standard rate) will waive the excess for any vehicle and the third party property damage. Multiple windscreen and tyre damage is also covered in the standard policy as is overhead and under-body damage on the rented vehicle. The total insurance charge is limited to a max of 50 days or NZ$1,800. The security can be covered by cash, traveller’s cheques in NZD or a credit card. Should the insurance excess & the Vehicle Security Guarantee be covered by credit card the amount will NOT be
debited to your account & will only be done so in case of an accident. We retain the right to hold these details 28 days after the hire.
Note: The driver must be 25 years or older.
▪ All Inclusive Package: easygo campers All Inclusive Package is available to travellers’ for NZ$46 per day premium on standard rental rates. The All Inclusive Package includes:
1) Waiver of insurance excess on any vehicle and third party property damage.
2) Camping table and chairs, baby seat or child/booster seat(s) as required & snow chains where necessary.
3) All one way hires free of charge.
VEHICLE SECURITY GUARANTEE
A credit card imprint is required on all rental agreements. The credit card must be valid for 28 days after the end of the hire. In the absence of a credit card, easygo requires a cash vehicle security bond of NZ$4,500 (or $2500 if Street Smart is taken, $250 if Freedom Plus buy down option is taken). This credit card imprint or cash will be held for 28 days after the return of the motorhome.

4) New Zealand Government Road Diesel Tax
